These day-old turkey hatchlings are sourced from Minnesota and approximately weigh 2 oz before being freeze-dried. After being freeze-dried they weigh around half an ounce.
Benefits
They are nutritionally superior to many foods due to their unabsorbed yolk sac, so it is a caloric rich training treat. Our turkey hatchlings are freeze-dried at low temperatures. They are perfect for small dogs and cats or a small snack for larger dogs.
Storage
Keep in a cool/dry place. Our freeze-dried products are free of preservatives and pesticides, and although it is very uncommon, bugs and mold (from added moisture) are your two culprits for causing trouble.
For longer storage, the freezer can be a great way to keep our products fresh, and away from bugs and pest that might show interest
